Jilted lover gets life for hiring students to murder her love rival
A female teacher has been sentenced to life in prison by the Guangdong Higher People’s Court, in China, for hiring five former students to kill her rival in love.
The accomplice, however, mistakenly drove his car into the wrong woman, cleaner Wang Surong, who has been in a coma since the accident two years ago.
Zhang Xuejing, 40, from Qingdao, Shandong province, originally told her former student to cause her pregnant rival, a woman surnamed Li, to miscarry but make it look like an accident.
When that plan failed, because Li had left the mainland to give birth, Xuejing told the pupil: ‘Let’s find someone to make her disappear from this world.’
The vocational school teacher and her student Hu Wenqiang, who drove the car, were sentenced to life imprisonment and deprived of their political rights for life.
Xuejing’s another student Shi Chunlong, who organised the incident, was sentenced to 15 years in prison and deprived of his political rights for five years.
